At Yael's Outdoor Supply, we have everything you need for camping, hiking, and the improvised assassination of high value targets!
In the Book of Shoftim (Judges), Yael is the one who fulfils the prophecy of Devorah--one of the storied Judges of Israel; another lady of the Bible whose badassery is the stuff of legend. Devorah's prediction? That Sisera, commanding general of a vast Canaanite army and one of the Jewish nation's chief antagonists, would fall into the hand of a woman. After fleeing the scene of a battle, Sisera finds himself at Yael's campsite. She invites Sisera in, and shows him a little hospitality. Sisera asks for a drink of water, she does him one better, a nice glass of warm milk. Sisera gets good and comfy, and once his guard is completely down, Yael drives a tent peg through his skull into the earth below. How does anyone think that the Bible is boring?!
Maccabee Apparel pays tribute to one of the underappreciated Biblical heroine, and all you badass ladies out there, with this cheeky design in the style of a retro ad. We've kept it PG, and instead of featuring the blood and gore you'll find in Renaissance paintings of this episode, Yael proudly holds the hammer and stake, with the proud motto "We've got the competition NAILED!" In the background, wrapped in blankets, a Sisera is taking a very long nap. This shirt available in unisex fit, or as a ladies' tee.
